The Grand Marais Music Collaborative will once again be hosting the Stars of the North Music festival in Harbor Park this summer on Saturday July 31st beginning at 11:00 AM and continuing through the day until 10:00 PM.
This year it will be only a one day event and hopefully returning to its usual 3 day status next year.
This annual fundraising concert will feature many cornerstone local musicians and of course the Stars of the North Students!
This event will be live webcast and there will be fundraising efforts along the way to help cover the costs of our programs which include paying for music lessons for area youth taught by talented local instructors.
The GMMC is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization that exists to serve the local music community specifically by creating opportunities for musicians and students, thereby benefiting education, the local arts community, the economy as a whole, and the general well being of our entire community.
If you are unable to attend the concert, please consider donating during the event by following instructions presented during the show. All donations are tax deductible.
We will be directly appealing for donations between performances of the area musicians and students.
